Quality Management

Amsol Solution

Quality Is Not Our Department. It Is Our Responsibility.

At Amsol, quality management is not a function that runs alongside manufacturing — it is embedded in every step of the manufacturing process. From DFM review before production begins, to in-process SPC monitoring during serial runs, to CMM verification before dispatch, quality is not inspected into our components. It is engineered into them.
Our in-house inspection facility — aligned with NABL-accredited laboratory standards — is the final gate before every shipment. No component leaves Amsol without dimensional verification, material confirmation, and documented traceability.

ISO 9001:2015

Our QMS is internationally certified, annually audited, and fully process-controlled.

Ensuring every part meets specification through disciplined, data-driven quality control.

APQP / PPAP Readiness

Gate-driven launch with samples, records, and approvals locked to part numbers.

PFMEA & Control Plans

Risk-based controls linked to operations, characteristics, and reaction plans.

MSA & Gauge R&R

Measurement systems verified for bias, linearity, stability, and repeatability.

SPC / CPK Monitoring

Critical dimensions trended; capability indices flagged and acted on.

Environmental & Functional Tests

Salt spray, thermal cycling, and fit/function checks aligned to specs.

Scalable Metrology and Testing Infrastructure

Stage What We Do
1. Design Review DFM analysis on every new component. Identify quality risks in the design before they become production problems.
2. Incoming Material Inspection Every material batch verified by spectrometer before processing begins. Chemical composition confirmed against specification.
3. In-Process Control Defined inspection intervals during production. SPC applied to critical characteristics. Operator self-inspection with documented records.
4. Final Inspection CMM dimensional verification against drawing for every batch. Surface roughness, hardness, and functional tests as required. First Article Inspection Report (FAIR) for new programs.
5. Pre-Dispatch Check Final visual and dimensional verification before packing. Batch traceability code assigned. Inspection report generated and attached to shipment.
Response Timeframe Action
Within 24 hours of notification Immediate containment. Suspect stock held at Amsol and at customer location. Sorting action initiated. Customer notified of containment status.
Within 72 hours Root cause analysis (8D or 5-Why methodology). Cause identified at process level — not at symptom level. Preliminary report shared with customer.
Before next production run Corrective action implemented. Control plan updated. Process re-validated.
Within 30 days Formal 8D report closed with evidence of corrective action effectiveness.
Ongoing Preventive action applied across related component families. Lessons shared across the Amsol team.
Equipment Capability
CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) 3D dimensional measurement. All features. GD&T evaluation. FAIR report generation.
Optical Emission Spectrometer Chemical composition analysis of ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Confirms material grade.
Surface Roughness Tester (Profilometer) Ra, Rz measurement. Confirms machined surface finish meets specification.
Rockwell / Brinell Hardness Tester Confirms heat treatment results on hardened components.
Vickers Hardness Tester Case depth and surface hardness measurement on case-hardened components.
Bore Gauges (Digital) Internal diameter measurement to 0.001mm resolution.
Outside Micrometer Set External diameter measurement to 0.001mm resolution.
Optical Comparator Profile comparison for complex geometries and thread forms.
Height Gauge (Digital) Step heights, shoulders, and datum-based measurements.
Thread Gauges Go/No-Go gauging for internal and external threads.
Pressure Test Rig Hydrostatic pressure testing for valve bodies, pump housings, and pressure-bearing components (on request).
